Description: Chinese agate snuff bottle of delicate caramel color and of flattened rectangular form. These apparently simple bottles, which may be insignificant to the eyes of not experts, are instead of very high quality. What concur for making them of high grade are the quality of the material, the overall accurate classic shaping, the excellent smoothing. the rounded foot, the concave mouth, and the perfect shaping and smoothing of the hollowing, with no signs of drilling. The shape of the hollowing is always matching the outer shape, as happens for example with blown glass.
