Descrizione

Description:   Chinese porcelain dish decorated with a border of ruyis and three branches, each with two peaches, in a nice underglaze blue tone. The fine quality of the decoration contrasting with the sand grits at the back. Probably a ko-sometsuke ware, meant to be exported for the Japanese tea ceremony.

Dating:  16th century, Wanli, Ming dynasty.

Size:  21.4 cm diameter
